cuz Eunteuk was in Japan doing promotions for Suju so JH and Onew relieved them of their duties for a while. i think it is quite funny. they were having a challenge and they need to call someone to make them say a specific phrase. then, Eeteuk and Eunhyuk, being the typical jokers, sort of bullied them. watch it here!

haha, there was like 1 min left and Eeteuk was soooo mean to JH. he started talking abt how Suju got 4th on Oricon etc and JH was like "Ah HYUNG~~~~". haha, very cute. =] den Eeteuk was so funny when he was supposed to pass the phone to Eunhyuk and sudd realised that it was his phone they were calling and he said, " WAIT, this is my phone so the roaming fee is going to be high! its $1.19 for evry minute!" LOL. he's so precise!
i also laughed when eunhyuk was saying,"ah,onew!you want to DJ and want to know if you can DJ anot" den eeteuk was like, "He can't" LMAO! so mean.... eunhyuk also very mean, " he was like saying, " Because in this one team, the leader is extremely old so he's having quite a bit of trouble" SO SARCASTIC!! they also kept singing the "Noona nomu yeppeo" in the background... haha.
den they refused to hang up saying stuff like, "why are you trying to hang up on a Sukira DJ?!" O.o and made JH and Onew sing their song. LOL. big bullies. can see that JH and Onew was laughing so hard as they were being bullied by their hyungs and practically going crazy. haha.
at the last part, i think they got so used to doing that hand action whenever they introduce themselves, "We're shining SHINee" till they even did it when they're hosting a RADIO show and NO ONE can see them. LOL.
i really like the SMe family (they're really close and funny) but i totally dislike LSM. argh, LSM you slave driver!!

ok, i dunno if i'm too strict on music or what but acty, i dun think the boys did a perfect performance here. but you can watch it to judge it yourself. =]

er, how do i say, i think JJ came in a little unsteady on his notes and his pitch was sort of drifting or floating as some might phrase it. in the other parts of the song whereby he had to hit really high notes, he was flat for some parts. for changmin, he had to hit really high notes and i felt that he was a little weak in this performance. somehow, his power din really show and his voice sounded real tired. in fact, they all sound rather tired and look rather tired. however, i think junsu managed to nail his part quite well though with almost no flaws. as for micky, i was too busy criticising his hair to notice anything abt his singing but nothing that really stuck out either. yunho was also sounding quite tired though and he had this little action that kinda irritated me, haha. you know the action of using the mic as a mini trumpet?? ya, go see again if u haven noticed it, it gets quite distracting.
however, i forgive them for their mistakes as this is a very dfficult song to sing live due to its unusual rhythm, its weird and fluctuating notes and the tune is quite easy to go out of tune (as i've personally tried it and there was always a tendency to go either sharp or flat here and there). hence, i still give the boys a thumbs up for not destroying the song and i think it was quite a good attempt. i think this was only their 2nd(??) time singing it live so with more practice and more live performances of this song, i'm sure they'll be able to perfect it as well as how they did with their other performances. hwaiting!!

as usual, JJ was shaky on his first note. but i forgive him again cuz its really a weird note. haha. he just needs more practice. i personally found this performance better than the above performance. the only thing was that the background was so bright and white. haha. kinda glaring. but it made them look like angels so that was another plus point. =] they have more power in their voices here and there were lesser glitches. plus, yunho din have that little action of his. =] JJ hit those high notes with more ease and CM high notes impressed me once again (as usual. )
i think they should really rest their voices cuz its beginning to show. their vocal chords sound kinda stretched. anyway, i believe their future performances wil get better and better. =]
kinda hope they will perform"box in the ship" live one day. i think it will be really fun and i would love to see what kind of dance will they choreograph for this song. prob it will be as fun as the summer dream wan. =]=]
P.S: sorry yokey... my sis accidentally broke the precious thought cup that you gave me for vday!! sobz... sorry sorry sorry... i miss the big big cup...can put alot of ice cream lor.... haiz. now, i'm using a temporary cup which is kinda small till i find another big big cup... heex...

its the little things
acty tdy, i was rather touched by what others may seem as an insignificant act. during flag raising ths morning, i was lip singing the national anthem cuz i cant sing with a voice like that. then, i dunno if my mouth was open for too long or what but sudd my throat got very itchy. YES. in the middle of the national anthem!
cuz i din want to distract the others, i tried to suppress my cough but it was really very tough. i managed to hold it in till after the pledge and i started to cough persistently. for those who know me, you'll know that my coughs are those very chesty kind and rather loud. but i swear i really tried my best to cough as softly as i can. but what touched me was that ppl in front like jobina and xianghong turned ard to ask me if i was alright, youbao and biwen behind offered me water while sock hian from the neighbouring line also asked me if i needed lozenges. when i went back to class, huishan also asked if i was okay. well, ppl may think that these are very minor acts of kindness and if anyone was coughing like that, they would also turn ard to ask if that person needed any help. to me, it was more than that.
these were acts of kindness that i would remember. its a special feeling to noe that the ppl ard you care for each other and there are ppl out there who care for you. so to all those who care for me, i really want to say a big THANK YOU. =]
when i was having my 3 hour break today, Mr Tan Tui Gee came to a few of us who were studying in the canteen and asked if we wanted DURIANS! yes, DURIANS in SCHOOL. haha. we were amused and shocked at the same time but kindly refused. then afterwards, we saw a few teachers gathering at the table with the durians and eating it heartily. it was rather interesting cuz i dun think you get to see ppl eating durians in school that often. but den again, it showed the family spirit that we have in our school. its really heartwarming. =] haha, i love DHS. ya, i noe we do complain here and there but i think that the ppl here are GREAT. =] plus, i think the teacher-student relationships in our school is really casual and everyone here are like friends. =]
sometimes, we will ask ourselves, if given another chance, will u still choose to come to dhs to study? and i found out that acty, for most of us, the ans is YES. if not for DHS, i dun think i'll get to meet such great ppl and have such wonderful friends. =]
once again, i'll like to say a big thank you to all who helped me along the way or made my life so much more interesting.
P.S: now coolktime is having the singing competition thing and the song for this week is "Balloons" by DBSK! well, i'm glad to hear that there are so many DBSK fans out there in singapore yet, i'm rather troubled cuz the girls calling in to sing aren't exactly pitch perfect.haha.
sometimes u do get rather agitated when ppl kinda spoil a song that u really like but i forgive them cuz i can hear their burning passion for dbsk in their voices. =]
oh, they just played "Geurigo...Holding back the tears" by DBSK! its a really nice song and i'm sure ivy wil agree with me. hahaha.
P.P.S: after this post, the no.of posts i have posted for this year is 88! what an auspicious and lucky number. for those who dunno, my fave number is 88!! *hint* to all those who know its significance. hahaha. woohoo!! three cheers for 88 posts in 2008!! hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray!

today was having dinner at home when the scenery outside my house was SOOOO beautiful!!

as i saw the scenery, it sudd reminded me of DBSK's song, purple line. acty, if you see it properly, there is a purple line just above the horizons!! you see it??!! really cool right?? rmb that time i saw a dbsk interview and junsu said that the song of purple line was abt how ppl believed that there was a better world beyond the purple line, on the other side of the horizon. being curious, i went to check up on the lyrics. =]

acty, i think this song is rather meaningful. it sort of gives me motivation for my A levels. haha.
i esp like the phrases, "Embrace your dreams and keep searching for the way to live" as well as "Keep on working like that, Only your goal will decide". i think these phrases are very apt for my present situation. probably there really is another more beautiful world beyond the horizons, maybe its a world free of worries and troubles, maybe its a world free of conflict.
well, i guess u must really work hard towards it before you can really get to know what is there. Push on towards your dreams and you will reach. as long as u believe you can do it, you will cross the horizons and see a brighter, better future ahead of you. =]

haha, i really like Jonghyun!! he's the most talkative wan in the group and he's funny! lol. SHINee's bling bling JONGHYUN!! yay! he's very frank and straightforward like how he just blurts out "onew hyung is not funny" hahaha...
i think the onew condition is quite funny! the leader of dbsk and shinee are very diffrent i guess. for onew, he's rather serious and that's why the members become like a rock in the car whereas for yunho, he jokes ard with the rest and with ppl like junsu in the grp i dun think its possible to have a peaceful and quiet journey. LOL.
besides JH was so cute! lol, he said after he said " i'm worried" and questioned himself "did I do something wrong?"he was like so sure that they will say that he is a good hyung and a good dongsaeng... hahaha. den he also barged back into the classroom when they haven told him to. and he even sings in his sleep~~O.o can't believe that he's 18!! same age as me! haha.
i was laughing so much when they were talking about alien minho. not that i dun like him. its just that he isn't exactly one of my faves in the grp. haha. and i totally agree when they say his big eyes look weird on his small face and how he has long arms and long legs too!!
when they were calling key, they call him key-sshi. i keep thinking that i heard quiche! lol. must be hungry already. LOL. and mother key really takes good care of the group! i also heard frm other interviews that e cooks for them etc. like jaejoong of dbsk! =] anyway, i think that key looks cute when he pouts his lips. haha.
the short clip was funny!! and the few of them really have a knack for acting! haha. the way they bitch ard is so girlish! oh, zh! taemin's character name is taeyeon!! haha. acty i think key looks prettier as a girl than taemin but lots of ppl say taemin looks prettier so i guess its up to you to judge yourself. anyway, the host was very funny himself too! LMAO!
well, i almost summaized what the whole show was about. oh, DBSK also went for the same thing before and t was even funnier! maybe will post it the next time. =] super envious of all those korean girls! its so cool that when they are studying, they sudd get called for a sudden assembly and they get a HUGE surprise whereby the surprise gifts are HUGE stars like DBSK themselves going down to relieve some of their stress level! i'm having lots of stress right now too! will they fly over to Singapore for a surprise school attack at DHS?? haiz.

P.S: lots of ppl are getting the flu virus now, including me... take care ppl!! and i just realised i'm spreading the flu to alot of other ppl too so stay away frm me!LOL. but i noe some of u cant resist my charms right?? haha, kidding. =]
New Haircut
i just went to get a new haircut today!! =] well, i din really cut alot just trim abit. so not much diff except for my fringe, den thin down alot of my hair cuz my hair's getting REAL thick these days and it makes me feel soooo hot. lol. so now, my whole head feels so much lighter.
today, anthony also helped me to straighten my hair and let me take a look at what my hair will look like if i rebond. i think its quite nice! prob cuz my hair is thick so when its al straight it doesn't go all "piak!" on my face and it does not look that flat. i took a pic but i know i'm not pretty so i'll just save it on my phone and let my friends see. haha. =] my mum and sis say the straight hair me makes me look more like a girl. haha. when i reached home, my mum was like, " WOAH! you actually look like a girl now! "
diao. O.o you mean i dun look like a girl?? haha. more feminine ba.
den anthony was also saying that i should rebond my hair after prom in case i want curls on prom night day, and i just told him, " i haven thought so far yet" haha. den again, i may be in indo during prom night so dunno if i can go also.
yay, after 'A' levels, i'm so going to dye my hair, rebond my hair and style my hair. =]=] waiting for sooooo long~~
oh ya, yesterday went to school to take the Nanyang Concept test. Dangz. just wasted 10 dollars like dat. firstly, i din manage to study finish. secondly, some of the questions that appeared i have never seen before. so there's only one conclusion: sure fail. if i'm lucky enough, i may get a certificate of participation. HAH.

ok, i was kinda bored so decided i'll just post this to update you all on how our boys have been growing. =]

all of them grew taller!! and i realised yunho is the only one who lost so much weight (or rather, he's the only one who lost weight!) !! he must be really stressed! poor guy. EAT MORE!!! or i'll float into ur dreams at night and haunt you to eat properly. LOL. all these work load must be preventing the guys to gain any weight at all and they're getting skinnier by the day... and the 2 tallest guys are like the the lightest ppl other than junsu la....haiz, so poor thing.
changmin is like 189!!! almost reaching 190 already!! poor ivy, your distance just got further, you'll prob need a 10 inch heel. hahaha. kidding. their average height is like 185 now!! last time it was only 180.5!! my my, what do they eat?? i oso want!! yunho's growing so much taller i must try to catch up!! guy's growing rates are really scary yeah?! but i dun think CM's weight is 61 though. i mean 189 and 61kg?? he must be seriously underweight!! and doesn't all those food he eats actually nutritions him AT ALL??
haha. i think i also need higher heels to match up to yunho's 186 now. lol. zh! junsu oso 183 liao leh! haha. anyway, i think the most impt thing for them is to EAT WELL now. i think they're seriously under nourished and underweight! their height and weight just dun match!! EAT MORE!!! (if not i'll feel bad for eating so much myself. LOL. O.o)

The five member idol group TOHOSHINKI's third single "Doushite Kimi Wo Suki Ni Natte Shimattandarou" sold 68,000 copies in its first week. This is TOHOSHINKI's third consecutive #1 single on the weekly charts, making them the first group to achieve this.
TOHOSHINKI's singles "Purple Line" (1/28) and "Beautiful You" (5/5) and lastly "Doushite Kimi wo Suki ni Natte Shimattandarou" attained 1st place on the weekly charts. They are the first foreign group to achieve this feat. The last two groups who held the record were Ame No Gyodo* in 1971/72 and Ravisu Ova in 1984 whom each had two consecutive #1 weekly singles.
TOHOSHINKI, the male idol group, debuted in February 2004. The five members are Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Changmin, and Junsu. They debuted in Japan in April 2005 with their single, "Stay with me Tonight."

Emo-ing
after today's session, i feel rather relieved. as in, i got a whole load off my chest. it was rather emotional and made me rethink alot of things. i feel that i think more now as compared to last time and i do enjoy the change i'm having. there was a period last time where i used to dislike the change in me. i used to wonder why did i become so cynnical of others, why do i keep judging ppl in a wayward manner.
i guess now, i'm able to think properly for myself and decide what is good for myself. as i told my besties today, i'm a person who's afraid of being left out, of not being able to fit in. in the past, i will try my best and just follow the flow cuz i was afraid of being outcasted. now, i begin to think for myself. i should not be just blindly following the crowd. i must begin to think on my own two feet.
after the talk, i begin to think abt how small actions could mean alot to others. it may be an insignificant gesture of yours but to someone else, its acty a very impt gesture, a gesture of love perhaps. its all these little things that can help make a change or difference in other's lives. its really a wonderful thing.
this morning, i was rather touched. as the students got down frm the school buses, student volunteers (mostly year6) were helping to ferry the students to shelter using their umbrellas. it was really a very touching thing cuz the year 6s instead of studying, were sacrificing their precious mornings so that less student get wet in the rain.i think that this is a really an initiative frm the students that i admire. thank you very much. =]
P.S: i realised i blog 8 posts in 2 hours yesterday! so that means 1 post in 15 mins!! woa! i think i got so used to blogging i can even type faster now. LOL.

this was a for the 60th anniversary of the korean constitution, at the huge lawn in front of the congress building, so it's really special. there were politicians in the audience, too! the politicians were smiling during the performance! haha. their purple line has been rehearsed and performed so many times its no wonder they performed it with ease. =]
this is the first time i saw them performing yeo haeng gi and their blend was soo nice. i must admit that junsu sounds real nice in here. he's definitely the best singer in the grp. loed his high note. =] i think yunho sounds a little tired. they must rest well! dong band hwaiting!!
P.S: so ironic. a person who's having a temperature now asking ppl to rest well and take care. LOL.
