Happy Lunar New Year!

Happy new year to all!! i know tdy is like the 4th day of CNY already so its really rather late. sorry was busy celebrating new year and visiting relatives dat i din really have time to come online. =] in places like singapore and china and taiwan, we celebrate Lunar new year but in Korea, they call it Seollal (설날) which is acty the same since korea has the same chinese roots. the only thing different is prob the way they celebrate it and the must-haves for the new year.

yet, there are still some similarities such as receiving red packets for the new year which they call it sebae-don as well as exchanging well wishes. fortune telling is also a must although many ppl in s'pore just rely on like their zodiac signs and horoscope to see their fortune for the year. and the thing that is a must must for all asian is to wear new clothes on the first day of new year!! that's always one of my fave part cuz i get to shop!! =]=]

his bday was on 26th january which was the first day of CNY so i really could not find time to blog. anw, wishing evryone a really WONDERFUL new year ahead and may all your new year resolutions be fulfilled!!!!!!

Bolero/Kiss the baby Sky/Wasurenaide

on the 21st january, THSK released their 25th jap single "Bolero/Kiss the baby Sky/Wasurenaide"

well, as usual, i loved their songs though i dun really fancy "kiss the baby sky" cuz of the constant high pitch melody but i really really like Wasurenaide. i dunno...its just so heart wrenching.

at first, i just thought "ok, the melody is really nice" but last night, i was lying on my bed with the ear phones in my ear with the whole room being pitch dark. the only light was the limited moon light coming in from my window. as i listened to this song, it made me tear.

amazing it is, i dun even understand the language but it just touches my heart. so i just wanted to share this song with you all and hope u'll be able to enjoy this song and feel this song like i did. i realised yunho got more lines too! he's really improving.

just to add, the lyrics were written by jaejoong. hmm, i just read it ad felt that it's really kinda sad. anw, i think that you should really listen to Wasurenaide carefully esp when u're alone in ur room. try it.

as for bolero, it has a very diff beat compared to wad tsk used to do. its a 6/8 beat and they've managed to succeed in this song. this song is rather nice too. but i still like wasurenaide.

Wasurenaide has just taken over Kiss shita mama to become my fave no. 1 jap song, closely followed by love in the ice. =] ( dun compare with kpop cuz the styles are diff.) really hope they'll do a PV for Waurenaide instead of kiss the baby sky though. i think it'll be so fitting for a drama OST.

STORM perf at Tzu Chi

i guess i better start blogging if not ppl say i lazy.

well, tdy went to Tzu chi to perform and the performance was not bad for only 2 days of practice. wait, let me rephrase, IT WAS GREAT! we ONLY had 2 days to prac and most of the people have never even performed this (or even performed) before. Good Job evryone! =]

the sad thing was no one brought camera to film the perf. but its ok, as long as we had fun tgt, nothing else matters. =]

i had fun these few days playing around. the guys were really funny and i'm glad that zh could mix in with the grp. =] tdy, they could even start niaoing her, say she eat instant noodles. lol. cuz everyone very tired ma, so all very high tdy. haha.

okok, back to looking for a job again.

Gastric flu... ...again

hmm, the usual vomitting, diarrhea and fever. feeling much much better now so to all my friends, 걱정하지 마세요 (don't worry). See, i'm even teaching a little korean. haha.

guess my stomach's really weak. i got this gastric flu cuz my family was going out to have dinner on monday night. cuz the wind was rather chilly so we opened the windows instead of switching on the aircon. I slept with my mouth open (hmm, i would say my sleeping expression is rather similar to yunho's) and that was probably how the germs reached the stomach. so dumb right. i vommited and diarrhea for almost 2 days ok. den use medicine to control. den the fever came. so sickening.

not exactly a very happy post to blog abt right after the new year post though. LOL.

anyway, recently really feeling the recession man. i sent out so many resumes but not many called back. those who called back for more information din call back again. sian.

hope for better luck next week. =]

P.S: i think my itunes is rather biased towards DBSK too. haha, for the past half an hour it kept playing dbsk songs even though its on random shuffle mode. haha.its prob trying to cheer me up. and its working. =] =]
