JYJ Singapore Showcase 161010

KYAAAAA~~~~ i finally get to meet members of DBSK in SINGAPORE!!!!!!!!! one of my long time wishes finally fulfilled and that is to see them and hear them perform LIVE. and once u've heard them, u'll become greedy and just want more

okay, i've been on hiatus for tooo long cuz busy with loads of stuff but this experience in JYJ showcase is just too precious for me NOT to blog about it. i wanna share just how fantastic these boys are :D i've waited till today when my post JYJ syndrome has recovered abit so i'm able to talk coherently in this blog post.

reached the expo at about 6pm and went straight to Coffee Bean to collect my dbsk goodies that i've ordered via onetvxq forums :D the t shirt design is nice! and the people were really friendly! finally got my JYJ SG showcase shirt, tvxq balloon, lightstick as well as the chocolate bar which i bought to support the "W" project (which u will noe later)

after getting changed and all it was about 6.15pm and people were alrdy queuing outside the venue. since our seats were alrdy numbered, me and my sis figured there wasn't any point in queuing so went to grab a bite at burger king. lots of people over there either designing JYJ fanboards, waiting for friends but u noe they are all here for JYJ cuz everyone was in RED. XD

finally about 6.50pm, we decided to go and queue cuz the doors was supposed to be opening soon. (supposed to open at 6.30pm but it was delayed due to the boy's tight schedule. it was explained later that the boys only left the hotel at 6pm after press conference and after rushing to expo, they still need to eat and rehearse, thus the delay)

finally about 8.30pm, the doors were opened and we could finally go in!! people started screaming in anticipation of going in and we were so excited as well!! took some photos with the banners outside. as i was going in, i was thinking, "oh my gosh! this is finally becoming real!!"

when inside, me and my friend were super excited. i swear to you when i sat down and finally settled in my mind that all these was happening, tears swelled up. but nope, i din cry. ALMOST. (i'm such a fangirl>.<)

finally about 9pm, the emcee Ah Ken from 100.3FM came out to tease the fans abit. also to emphasize on NO standing (what a spoiler) and NO phototaking during the showcase. they were really strict with securities confiscating cameras during the showcase itself.

and soon after, the lights dimmed down and out came JYJ!!!!!! the princes in white!! i was so super touched. i was FINALLY seeing them LIVE after hoping for 5years? oh my, now i realised i waited so long! no need to only be able watch videos online but i was watching them, jaejoong, yoochun, junsu, performing right in front of me *gasps*

first song they sang was "Empty", followed by "Be the One" and lastly "Be my Girl"

jaejoong was just wearing a white suit while yoochun had a similar suit but with another shirt inside. as for junsu... erm, i dunno what to make out about his costume, it did show lots of his back but it looks abit like a du4 dou1 (ancient chinese female inner garment). haha. but i was too high and spazzing too much to say anything tt time. all of them just looked so handsome and fine!!

oh! i think this is a still of them doing the 'let it go' part!

when they first came out, they were so dazzling! out frm the ascending stage! and i screamed and screamed till i thought i was gg to start coughing blood. yea, i was THAT excited and agitated. but u'll get what i mean after seeing their performance here (pardon if the video has parts where it goes out of focus cuz security was really tight and there aren't many good fancams around that are not too shaky or blurry):

beginning of the showcase! when this video started, evryone was screaming like there was no tml. and THEY WERE OUT!! (btw, i really really liked the way yoochun's low notes harmonised and complemented jaesu's high range. sorry yoochun if i ever said that jaesu were better singers! i realised it takes all 3 to really create a good harmonising cuz they help each voice to shine in their own way) i used to think yoochun had a very nasal voice when he sings but thats totally not the case when u hear him sing LIVE! all of them sing soooo good its really difficult to even pick the best. :D

i like their dance for the "let it go" part. its very easy to follow and easy to rmb too! just the first song and it made everyone so high!!

this song is really catchy and i must say up till now, all of them have been dancing really well with very stable vocals. even yoochun O.o (who usually makes mistakes at dancing) was flawless in his dancing. to watch them perform live is indeed a treat for the eyes =]

this song was my favourite when i first listened to their "the beginning" album. they played abot with the mics and can see that jae was rly enjoying himself. after the showcase, visuals of junsu doing the sexy wave keeps coming up when i think of this song (hmm, naughty mind>.<) junsu seemed really confident during the "you should be my baby, baby, baby~" part... jaejoong seemed a little shy doing the dance and yoochun... well, lets just say he's just being yoochun. LOL. yoochun had the " i rather die than do that wave" kinda look on his face.

i like the part where they look at each other and sing "gonna get you girl, get you girl... gonna love you girl, love you girl..." i thought it was rather sweet and you can see them enjoying themselves on stage while smiling and singing :D

after which yoochun said Thank You and they went back stage. they showed a video here (i cant rmb which one but in total 3 videos were showed: first one was To Fan where they wrote love messages to fans on a transparent glass (sweet!). second one was behind the scened which showed clips of them recording in LA and interview with the producers such as rodney jerkins. Third one was about their dreams. junsu mentioned something about being able to sing on a stage is his dream and he wants to sing in a bigger stage (i think?), jaejoong said about knowing that he cant be a singer forever so he wants to try something else and yoochun said he felt most free on stage and wants to continue this way. )

then it was Q & A time!!

the translator was really lousy cuz he din translate completely. amazingly, i understood some of the korean so i could pick out his faults. HAHA.

ah ken mentioned something about limited edition of the album having 99 999 copies only and asked us how many nines? all scream: "5!!" and he said, "5 is a special number right?" everyone scream again. ah ken," 5 is a special number cuz i want you all to countdown from 5 for JYJ to come out! 5, 4, 3, 2, ,1!"

and they were out!! jj was wearing a white tee with a leather jacket, junsu in white sleeveless with a black vest, yoochun with a super low cut V-neck black shirt and black jacket like the one he has on the official posters. all very handsome! looking at them, then the realization hit me that they were REAL and standing in front of me. i wasn't blocked by a transparent glass a.k.a computer screen.

anyone who sees jaejoong in person will seriously feel ashamed. how can someone look so flawless and perfect?! he looks like a doll. a prince (or rather princess??) he was just sooo good looking! jaejoong truly lives up to his name of "VISUAL SHOCK" when u first see him in person. its truly a BREATHTAKING SIGHT. yes.. THAT GOOD. also, i take back if i ever said yoochun and junsu were not as good looking. if you see them in person, it'll be difficult to pick a bias. cuz all three of them have their own individual charms. :D

when the translator translated junsu's intro, yoochun exclaimed, "what kind of translation is that?!" LOL. Jaejoong's intro got the most screams, "hi! how are you? I'm.. JJ. (with his typical laughter)" ALL SCREAM. ken said to translator, "i think you're supposed to translate that into korean instead." this got jae all excited and laughing, came off the chair to hi five with ah ken.

then yoochun intro, " hi everyone! ayyy~~ i'm micky" and ken said, "then i'm minnie" Ultimate COLD. but everyone just screamed away. yoochun gave the O.O look and ken ended up saying sorry i was just kidding. haha.

during the whole Q&A, junsu was the main spokesperson with jaechun keep bullying him. when asked which was their favourite dance, jaechun immediately called out junsu unanimously. HAHA. cute dolphin gave the "why is it always me?!!" kind of look and came out to do the sexy dance.

when asked about ideal type, junsu said the feeling has to be just right and the girl has to be outgoing. jaejoong was very shy and kept using his hand to cover his face and din really want to answer it. later he said, "pretty hands" ken asked, "so girls who play piano? norm the have pretty hands," jae said, "no need just pretty hands will do" junsu mumbled at the side and the translator then helped him to translate, "junsu said that jaejoong's lying" (LOL. I LOVE THEIR CHEMISTRY) after which jae added, " and the girl must love me too" ALL SCREAM.

when it was yoochun's turn, ah ken asked him about how did he find Singapore girls. BEING yoochun, he said, "this is my first time in singapore. when i first saw the girls here..... WOW" HAHAHA. EPIC.

throughout Q&A, i think yoochun was the most comfortable cuz everyone was speaking english and he could understand every single word. he was always flashing his killer smile and laughing throughout, sometimes leaning back and laughing so hard :D and yoochun really likes to tease the fans. XD

junsu was just being his usual cute and CHARISMATIC self. HAHA. for this whole trip i think he was like the spokesperson of the group. even during the press conference, they will discuss and junsu will be the one answering the questions. at first, when i saw that they keep pointing to each other to ans i felt disappointed. i thought they din want to ans but i watched fancams in bangkok and malaysia and i realised they always try to push the qn to each other and it usually falls on junsu to answer. HAHA. poor su su. also, maybe cuz junsu came before for zuno's showcase, he felt more familiar and at ease?

jaejoong was the quietest and the most shy. covering his face to laugh and occasionally driving fangirls crazy by flapping his jacket abit. (i think he was just feeling warm)probably cuz he wasn't familiar with the place, the language plus tired from the tight schedule for the day. (they flew in to SG at 1.05pm, left airport abt 2 plus pm, press conference at 4.30pm, 6pm rush for rehearsals and dinner, 9pm showcase start) also, cuz of the poor translation, jaejoong was seen often leaning towards yoochun for translation instead. only poor junsu had to depend on the translator. haiz, the translator not even proactive enough to translate for them and they had to depend on yoochun.

OH! when asked if they cried when first receiving the finished album, everyone was screaming yoochun. yoochun pointed to himself and gave a very innocent, "me?" kind of look. then, he shook his hand and two fingers disapprovingly. the girls din care and continue screaming yoochun and when he turned to look for help from jaesu, he was shocked that 2 of them were also pointing their fingers at him while nodding in approval. LOL. then he finally replied, "okay, i ALMOST cried"

lastly, ah ken told them that the fans have a surprise for them. first we did, "ANNYEONG HASEYO" and they greeted us back. then we said, "SARANGHEYO JAEJOONG, YOOCHUN, JUNSU" the trio could not hear properly and yoochun ask, "ah, sarangheyo jaejoong, yoochun, junsu?" ALL SCREAM. then came the part. ken asked the fans to sing Ayyy girl. at first attempt, we failed (quite terribly. expected cuz the song was only released 2 days ago and alot of people haven heard the song yet). ken said, "why not we sing tgt?" the trio sang along and i admit i stopped singing cuz i wanted to hear them sing (which was very good ACAPELLA). then ah ken said, " i think they were too busy screaming or listening to you all sing they forgot to sing."

then yoochun said, "actually... they're not singing." haha and they said they wanted to hear us sing.

after another round of rather unclear singing, junsu bent his head down and when ah ken asked, "junsu, how was it?"

junsu replied, "oh, Vellie good!" LOL. i love this dolphin boy so much. tt brought thunderous screams. so encouraging =] and it brought the message "dun worry, we're not angry" :D

with this, the Q&A session more or less ended and jaejoong was asked to introduce the next song. with out waiting for the translation, when everyone heard, "..... sungkyunkwan...." ALL SCREAM.

next up, they sang Chajatta from Sungkyunkwan scandal and evryone sang along! it was just so beautiful. esp the part, "saranghae nol saranghae~" evryone sang as loud as possible. if you hear the audio that was recorded by me (pardon the poor sound system), u could hear the fans singing at that part and the trio acty quieten down to hear us sing. but at the last saranghae, i guess everyone wanted to hear them sing that part themselves for the last time and forgot to sing along. but the trio wanted to hear us sing that part and din sing that part resulting in a moment of silence. HAHA. but later everyone continued singing again.

i really really love the fans in singapore. when the trio were singing, u can hear almost no one screams. only in between then we will scream. I LOVE IT cuz this means we get to actually hear the boys SING instead of screaming our heads off and not hearing anything. i think the boys do appreciate this as well as this means their fans really LOVE their SINGING and not just the looks. plus the red sea at this point was just so pretty!! everyone waved their lightsticks along with the trio and it was just a sight to behold.

Plus, our "W" project as really successful! i think the boys would have seen it. the W that we put up represented our determination in always keeping the faith. in case you dunno, "W" is a very special alphabet to all cassies. why? cuz when you find the letters TVFXQ on the keyboard, it makes a W. when the 5 boys stand in formation, they make a W. when you see the constellation of Cassiopeia, it makes a W. the letter W links cassie's hearts with the boy's. (also, JYJ had a song called "W" that had lyrics telling the cassies to keep believing)

then it was time for the last song, their title track, Ayyy Girl. i wasn't exactly a fan of this song at first but dang! hearing it live changes EVERYTHING. i love their dance and the beat and ALL. and did i mention how much i love singapore fans again? for not screaming during the song but still hyping up the atmosphere in between. LOVE IT.

after this the boys started to say things like thank you very much for the fans support and they will continue to do better and all. but the very bomb that got the whole place screaming like mad came from our darling yoochun!

Quoted exactly by yoochun, "we're gonna be here...probably...next year...er....not sure but we're gonna visit u guys with a concert? (EXPLOSIVE SCREAMS) and thank you guys really for all your support..." jaejoong gave approving nods at the side so i supposed there's really such a possibility? WHEE~~~ and yoochun added, "yea.. and ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH!"

we cassies have always been saying AKTF but to hear the trio saying it personally means SO much more.

during this time when they were talking, we executed the "keep in mind that i love you" project to show that SG cassies will always be here for JYJ/DBSK. huge success! with so many ppl putting the paper up, i supposed the boys could NOT have not seen it. :D

after closing ment, yoochun shouted, "everybody standup!" the crowd went wild and everyone stood up (in much disregard to the securities. LOL.) some from the back ran to the front to get better views and of course, me and my friend too. =] managed to take this very shaky fancam and a few pics of junsu cuz i was at the centre where junsu was. yoochun was to the right and jaejoong on the left. they sang Empty (remix version).

when they shouted, "jump jump!" everyone was jumping so high and waving their lightsticks. extreme fun!! when JYJ sang "let it go~" the fans replied in unison, "LET IT GO!" and the dance is really addictive as i feel like doing it again as i type this post.

the red sea looked like a pumping, beating red heart. i was so proud and honoured to be part of it. also, so touched that i could show my support for JYJ/DBSK this way. i sure hope JYJ was as touched by the fan's efforts and sincerity through this showcase and come back often!

during the song, yoochun shouted, "Singapore~~WE LOVE YOU!" awwwwww... so touched. then they went up the higher stage, junsu shouted a last, "put your hands up!" and then, they were gone the same way in which they came. after that, all the dancers went back and fans started to shout ENCORE! we all din want to leave till the security came out and told us that it was really over. =[

after that, me and my friend wanted to find the gift box to give our gift to JYJ but was told by the security guards that due to overwhelming response, they only limit the gifts to few VIPs and no more cuz too much to carry back. sianz... after which i reluctantly left the area and headed home.

since i had 2 free tix from Korea tourism organization, i gave them to my sis and charlotte. my biggest satisfaction after the showcase must be my sis telling me that if JYJ were to come back for a concert she will want to go and BUY the tix =D she even put up the JYJ poster in her room!! whee~ if she can fall in love with JYJ, i'm sure she will fall in love with DBSK! and my goodies!! oh, and there were many fanboys at the showcase too!

though the sound system wasn't very good, the time management not very good, translator not very good, i'm glad the boys MORE than made up for it with their professionalism, dedication and passion for performing. the next time they come back, i hope they can bring us MORE songs and put up yet another great show! as much as i want 5 of them to come back tgt, i'm happy to be able to just keep supporting them as 3/2/5 and let them continue to perform on the stage that they love so much.

JYJ SG SHOWCASE was the closest that i got to meet my dbsk members and even though yunho wasn't there, the three of them were FANTASTIC and delivered a GREAT show. i used to say that i'll be contented to just hear them LIVE ONCE in my life. but after hearing them LIVE, i want MORE. i want them to come back! (well, as long as i haven listened to all 5 of them LIVE ONCE, i'm not being too greedy right? >.<)

i thoroughly enjoyed myself during the showcase and thx to JYJ for bringing me so much happiness, craziness, sadness that its over in 1hr all in 1 day! i look forward to the next meeting with out boys!!

by the way, i love this fandom cuz everyone's so nice! i met a new japanese friend online cuz of this showcase as well as a fellow SG cassie, jelly! glad to know you guys! cassies are one united bunch of people who will always stay so dedicated to our boys. =D

PHEW. i spent one day typing this and finally done! oh gosh, i'm beginning to miss them already!
