DHS Youth Alumni - Reminiscence

the black and whites. =] heard alot of ppl replied but din go in the end. anw, it was a good platform to catch up with all my seniors and ex classmates. =] basically there were speeches, food and lots of catching up. i even won a dunman doll (3rd in my collection) and i think it was the only male doll left. haha. my name was called first during the lucky draw but i was too busy talking to notice anything.

really miss all the dunman peeps and all the cam whoring. =] see you guys again soon!!

after that had to rush off to YBC anniversary celebration...

Ion Orchard

oops. i think i super long never update cuz i have alot of photos waiting to see daylight. let me briefly list out what i've been doing with reference to my calendar but i'll only talk abt those that i got pics to blog abt. =]

13 july - went to pasir ris park to recce ALONE. cuz zh was sick last minute. got photos but all zi lian kind so shall not post since i'm not a beauty. haha

14 july - went to minds cafe at clarke quay. laughed like crazy while playing the games. the guy asked, "what games you all want to play?" and jamie was like, "no brain wan." ROFL.

15 july - went back to school to play badminton. din meet alot of teachers though. had to go off early to have dinner with my uncle who was in singapore at that time. haven gotten the pics frm anting yet. did lots of jumpshots!

18 july - teoheng with my sis, zh, phimol and kt. teoheng very high tech alrdy leh! got touch screen!

21 july - met up with yoke and aaron cuz we got nothing better to do. HAH! wanted to watch movie but cant decide on any so went to eat at waraku at Heeren b4 proceeding to Ion orchard to explore cuz its the first day of opening.

i think i ordered curry katsu udon and we were so amazed at the size of the bowl that we kept taking photos.

den we headed on to ion orchard to take a look at the much anticipated TOILETS!! really very classy and nice with alot of places to take photo.haha. the following toilet pics will not have aaron. for obvious reasons.

after walking for 2 plus hours we decided we all needed some ice cream. haha. so we went to this newly opened ice cream shop, "Gusttimo".

hmm, let me recall what were the flavours. i think is white wine, melon and raspberry? anyway, i hereby present my TRAFFIC LIGHT! haha.

heard frm yoke this ice cream shop acty frm korea. totally dun sound like lor. i thought its frm italy or rome. O.o

oh ya, the service there is really good. after eating, they even give u a cup of water. and also, the supervisor or something will come and ask you like "is everything ok?" even though the shop was like super crowded.

as a plus, they even helped us to take photo when we were trying to zi pai without us asking for help. =]

27th June
went to sing at Teoheng with the clique. really really nice cuz like very long never see so many of them already esp Jingwen. haha. and as usual, the girls were always on the mic while the guys paid 6 dollars to enjoy the air con and our melodious singing with some chips provided by me. LOL.

as usual, outings with the clique normally meant lots of laughter and niao-ings. but all in the good name of fun. =] after singing we went to ajisen to eat. My fave volcano ramen!! haha. with white fish and ice lemon tea. so standard already. went to walk ard Giant den took shuttle bus to bedok and den mrt home. =]

29th June
Reached DHS at around 5.30pm. wanted to go back school to see the AYG torch relay. torch came about 6.15pm. there were 2 ambulances and lots of security behind. reached the hall and Mr Sng gave a speech. then passed the flame to another person. and we saw them extinguish the flame and transporting the torch in a DHL van. dots. probably due to the rain, it wasn't safe for the runner to run in the rain?? also, due to H1N1, we cannot have mass gathering so the hall also only a handful of students. so sad right?

acty kind of disappointed as it wasn't as happening as i expected. darn the H1N1.

After that, anting say she tired so go home first. Me, yoke, vayl and aaron den headed to suntec city to eat swensen's and share the EARTHQUAKE~~ haha. the four of us were like so crazy with all the jokes and all. haha, should have seen the way yoke said earthquake and did the action at the same time. HILARIOUS. when u put 4 exceptionally high ppl and easily excitable ppl tgt, u get a whole night of craziness.lol. but this kind of gatherings remind me of the good ol' days in secondary sch. haha.

30th June
went to meet Yoke and Aaron ard 1pm to watch Drag me to Hell. ok, it was scary due to the sound effects and the sudden appearance of the old lady at unexpected moments. but other than that, some parts were really funny. i was sitting in the centre with yoke and aaron on my left and right respectively. yoke was covering her eyes and scared while me and aaron were laughin at the scenes. hha.

well, nosebleed that sputters like a fountain?? fake eyeballs popping out and hitting the girl?? fight in the car with the old lady kissing the girl twise or more throughout the show? ya, that's comedy already. LOL. kinda of expected the ending though so not a very nice show to me. cuz its a horror turned comedy. diao.

this was taken after we helped aaron look at clothes and buying our square square bread from Yamazaki. haha. we decided cuz we're a random combi going on a random outing so we must take a photo for keepsake. =] oh, my baby's alive!! my camera is working again. >.<

1st July
Went to meet Chin Ee and Khee Teng ard 12pm after settling some stuff for mum in her office. CH and KT were supposed to meet earlier 11am at Toa Payoh. in the end, kt say will late den CH picked me up frm Eunos mrt (where i saw a rather pissed nicholas nah. LOL.) and drove there. went to see the doctor and headed for dim sum!! =] the dim sum at yum cha is really really good! and its below 20 bucks! but be there early though cuz it can get rather crowded. satisfied with the spread of glorious food. =] whatever happened to my diet man. haiz. basically it was just an afternoon of chatting and gossipping(oops!) and reminiscing old times. yay, next time go catch a movie tgt yea? haha.

had to leave early though cuz mum din allow me to stay out late. expected la. i've been like going out consecutive for a few days already and tml still wanna go out some more. she still let me go i should be counting my blessings alrdy. =]

looking forward to my next dim sum trip!! whee~~

P.S: feel really old lately. lol. once got too many activities den feel like energy is draining. haha. need to sleep more. =]

WiE 2008

ytd, i went to the WiE (Women in Engineering) ladies only event. it was really interesting and i was even more interested and determined to study bioengineering. i want to make a difference, make a change and hopefully let the lives of ppl change for the better. yup, that's my hope.

me, zh and jw at the NUS guild house located at suntec. the lightings were quite dark so the pic was not very nice. haha. during the event, there were talks, games and booths. rather fun! i oso met soolin there. 2D~~~~

although there was a tea break with very nice food, i must say ( i think we like went for 3 rounds of food??), we were craving for desert!! and we went to Anderson's for ice cream!! yum yum!





ous Anderson's Classic with 5 scoops of ice cream!! let me recall, i think it was fruits of forest, macadamia nut, mocha almond fudge, cookies and cream and some chocolate thing.

afterwards, i went to meet my dad to go to COMEX. the ppl there was.... *faint*. many many ppl were stealing my oxygen resulting in the continuous yawning when i was there. but over there... i saw something that greatly aroused my interest. hahahaha.... tell u in the next post.

Teacher's Day 2008

this year has got to be one of the most fun teacher's day i had!! evryone (or most of us) wore our junior high uniforms and tried to look as nerd as possible. haha. i must say, we kinda succeeded. =]=] for the girls, many of us tried to stuff ourselves back into our old school uniform while the guys acty wore back their shorts!!! i din expect evryone to be so enthusiastic ans spontaneous, but frm this, u can really see that we're a bunch of fun, exciting, daring and super closely knitted cohort, bursting with enthusiasm! haha. i really love the year 6 cohort!!

okok, i admit. i got lazy. i just picked random pics. so i din upload much pics to put on my blog but not to worry, being the highly efficient me, i've got the zip files loading on mediafire while i'm typing now. =]

i think 2 to 3 years frm now, when i look back at all these pics, i'llprob be thinking why i ever did these poses and took these funny pics. haha, but i'm sure to be in for a good laugh and a flood of memories. these are memories that i'll really take with me as i progress forward in life. Thanx to evryone who made this day so special and memorable. =] even as it was the last day of school, no one cried and all stayed happy. i'm happier lik this cuz like i said, i dun like crying and dun like to see my friends cry. = ] i'm glad evryone was able to end the last day on a happy note and simply have fun. i'm sure evryone managed to relax on this day and just enjoy a good laugh while spoiling your eyes with all the un-glam poses. LOL.

P.S: the stupid internet say my server was reset!!! my files were not uploaded!!! haiz, very late lio. i'll upload it agin tml. and update this post. not to worry.

lastly, wanna say a very big thank you to all my teachers for all that they have sacrificed for us and also for putting in so much effort for us...

Last 2 days of official school lessons

as our days of formal lesson is coming to a closure... we felt that it was impt for us to capture images of these 2 days. hence, we pic-spammed. haha.

me and zh had the individual photoshoot thingy so we were just taking some random photos while waiting for our turn and while watching others take their photo.

haha, cuz we niao-ed yiwei and he was trying tohit yoke with a broom so we locked the doors so he could not come in but he locked us in instead with a broom and dustpan. LOL. are we really 18?? the 2 twins at the door...

we were looking for photos for the collage thing that the sch was helping us to make.

haha, i brought my mickey for the photoshoot while zh brought her hello kitty ear muffs. so what do u get when u combine this 2 tgt?? a VERY CUTE mickey! LOLs.O.o
